The Castrol Barrett-Jackson Sweepstakes presents an opportunity to win an all-expenses-paid trip to the Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, along with a $40,000 credit to bid on a vehicle. The sweepstakes, sponsored by BP Lubricants USA Inc, is open from August 20, 2024, to December 1, 2024.
Participants can enter by completing an online entry form available on the sweepstakes’ designated landing page. The grand prize package includes a trip for two to Scottsdale from January 19 to January 26, 2025. The trip features round-trip coach air transportation, seven nights of standard lodging, a rental car, $400 for incidentals, daily lunch and dinner, and access to the auction.
The winner will also receive a $40,000 credit to be used exclusively at the auction for purchasing one vehicle. The credit will be directly transferred to Barrett-Jackson by the sponsor, and the winner must sign a bidder agreement before the auction. If the vehicle’s price exceeds $40,000, the winner must cover the additional costs, including any associated fees.
Additionally, the sponsor will pay up to $4,000 for bidding commissions and transportation fees to deliver the vehicle to the winner. If these fees are lower than $4,000, the remaining funds will not be awarded to the winner. If the winner fails to place a winning bid, the funds will be returned to the sponsor, with no option to attend a future auction.
