FREE Urban Composting Workshops in San Francisco
The Urban Composting Workshop, hosted by Garden for the Environment (GFE), is a unique opportunity to learn the art of composting. Compost is the foundation of healthy gardens, enriching soil quality and fostering successful plant growth. Participants will discover the process of creating compost in their own backyards, including the magic of worm-powered fertilizer. The workshop also offers valuable insights on effectively using the city’s compost bin system to reduce organic waste in landfills.
Free Admission with Donation Option
GFE generously provides free entry to the Urban Composting Workshop for the public. Participants have the option to make donations, supporting GFE’s endeavors in promoting eco-conscious gardening practices and environmental education.
