TOCApalooza: A Day-Long Celebration of Arts and Culture

TOCApalooza, the newly expanded version of The South Bay Festival of the Arts, is back with an enhanced festival experience. Scheduled for Saturday, June 22, from 11am to 5pm PDT, this free event will be held at the Torrance Cultural Arts Center, 3330 Civic Center Drive, Torrance, CA. The festival will feature entertainment on three stages, a variety of arts vendors, and an array of food and beverage options.

Diverse Entertainment on Three Stages

Attendees can look forward to performances across three stages. On the Torrance Refining Company Stage, located on the Torino Plaza, the lineup includes:

The Armstrong Theatre will host performances by the Peninsula Symphony’s Youth Orchestra, Sabor de México, the South Bay Public Choir, and many more throughout the day.

In the Nakano Theatre, festival-goers can enjoy performances by the Palos Verdes Symphonic Band – Flute Ensemble, magician Jonathan Neal, the McNulty Irish Dancers, and several other acts.

Culinary Delights and Refreshments

A variety of food vendors will be present at TOCApalooza, offering delicious options such as Cerda Vega Tacos, Felice Italian Catering, Gelinos Ice Cream, Kona Ice of Carson, and others. Attendees can also sample beverages from local breweries and wineries, including Absolution Brewing, Burnin Daylight, Scholb Ales, and Vondor Wine.

Arts and Crafts Vendors

The festival will feature numerous arts and crafts vendors, presenting an array of unique creations from Destination Art, Linda’s Crafts, Love Me Some Flowers, Paul Henry Fresco, Rosy’s Boutique, and many more. Visitors can explore a wide range of artistic works, from fine art and jewelry to handmade soaps and clothing.

With free admission and parking, TOCApalooza offers a day filled with art, music, and community fun. New artists and vendors are being added regularly, so attendees are encouraged to check back for the latest updates.
