UBELAND Day Two: Filipino Culinary Celebration at Smorgasburg Prospect Park

Smorgasburg Prospect Park will host UBELAND Day Two, a continuation of the Filipino food and culture celebration, on Sunday, June 16, at Prospect Park, Brooklyn, NY. The event is free to attend, with RSVPs encouraged to help ensure a smooth experience for all guests.

UBELAND Day Two is part of a larger celebration timed with Philippines Independence Day. The event builds on the previous day’s festivities at Smorgasburg Williamsburg and expands the partnership between Smorgasburg and Philippines Fest, promising a bigger and more engaging event.

The focus is on ube, the purple yam that is a beloved part of Filipino cuisine. The celebration will feature 10 special guest vendors, in addition to Smorgasburg’s regular vendors, all serving dishes centered around ube. Some of the featured vendors include:

  • THE BOIIS CO (UBE Mochi)
  • FOUR TREATS (UBE Rolls)
  • GOBI GOODS (UBE Pastries)
  • KABISERA (UBE Masubi & Tempura)
  • KAPAMILYA (UBE Halo Halo)
  • LOGAN & CO (UBE Drinks)
  • MUCHO SARAP (UBE Tacos)
  • PUTLONG (UBE Sandwiches)
  • SOFT SWERVE (UBE Ice Cream)

Attendees will have the chance to enjoy a variety of ube dishes, from traditional recipes to modern creations, in both sweet and savory forms. The event also features live karaoke and other cultural activities, offering a full experience of Filipino culture.
